About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff iOS Engineer to join our dynamic software development team located in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative mobile applications that enhance our customer experience. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive hands-on experience in iOS development. A Bachelor's Degree in any field is required. Candidates should have at least six years of experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with a proven track record of designing, architecting, and implementing complex mobile solutions. Experience in leading and mentoring junior and intermediate developers, as well as collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders, is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, open source frameworks, and agile methodologies will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Own and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in collaboration with senior engineers and architects to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Participate actively throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Enhance software engineering practices by working within agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using a full stack of development tools and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior, intermediate, and senior mobile developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute expertise on how evolving technologies impact our domain, recommending innovative approaches to improve our mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
- Ensure adherence to security, quality, and performance standards in all development activities.
