About The Role

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Developer with a focus on iOS to join our client’s dynamic team based in Brighton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about creating high-quality mobile applications in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring seamless user experiences and optimal performance. This position is ideal for someone looking to enhance their skills in a creative setting, working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire.

The role is based in Brighton with a flexible working arrangement: four days in the office and one day working remotely. The salary range for this position is £50,000 to £70,000, depending on experience and skills. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in iOS development with proven experience in building and maintaining applications in Swift. A strong understanding of modern UI design principles using SwiftUI is essential. Candidates should have a good grasp of software development best practices, including applying SOLID principles to create scalable and maintainable code. Experience working with RESTful APIs for integrating backend services is required. Knowledge of memory management, multi-threading, and performance optimization techniques to ensure smooth app performance is also necessary.

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include experience with Android development using Kotlin, demonstrating versatility across mobile platforms. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry standards.
