About The Role
Navitus is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join its expanding team due to ongoing growth. The primary focus of this role is to create engaging, user-friendly digital experiences that align with the company’s customer-centric approach within the CX/DX department. The UI/UX Designer will be instrumental in envisioning, designing, and prototyping interfaces that enhance customer interactions across various digital platforms. This role involves producing wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, and site maps to facilitate seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate will leverage design thinking methodologies combined with graphic design principles to craft visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including product development, compliance, and marketing—is essential to ensure designs meet accessibility standards, branding guidelines, and user needs. The successful candidate will also conduct usability testing to validate design effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology, design, or related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
- 3-5 years of professional experience in user experience research and design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interface design and visual storytelling
- Proficiency with design and wireframing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML and CSS
- Experience conducting user research and applying findings to design improvements
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and 508 compliance is a plus
- Willingness to obtain or hold recognized UX certifications (e.g., CXPA, Forrester, Nielsen Norman Group, HFI, IAOIP)
- Knowledge of healthcare industry practices, HIPAA regulations, and data privacy considerations is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Apply voice of the customer (VoC) research to inform interface and graphic design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, and site maps to illustrate user interactions
- Research customer interactions and implement design techniques to enhance user experience
- Ensure digital navigation remains intuitive and engaging, providing a delightful customer journey
- Collaborate with product teams to develop interactive wireframes and interface designs aligned with development backlogs
- Work with the compliance team to incorporate accessibility features and ensure designs meet 508 standards
- Partner with marketing to maintain consistent branding across all digital assets
- Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and design iterations
- Assist in designing dashboards and team pages to improve internal and external user engagement
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives and project needs
