Planner

For one of key clients in Northern Sweden we are seeking several lead schedulers for lucrative long term consultancy contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and optimise the master construction schedule in line with overall project strategy
• Work closely with supervisors and the Construction Manager to align site activities and minimise delays or deviations
• Apply advanced planning and sequencing methods to improve efficiency and maximise resource utilisation
• Set up and manage progress monitoring and control systems, ensuring clear reporting and data-driven decisions
• Continuously update schedules based on actual progress, assessing impacts and identifying recovery actions
• Produce and present progress curve analysis across key areas, disciplines, and critical work packages
• Proactively identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in project planning and scheduling within large-scale EPC industrial projects.
• Expert user of Primavera P6 (essential), with strong skills in MS Project and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Experience with integrated systems like SAP, EcoSys, or Deltek Cobra is advantageous
• Proven track record leading planning teams on major projects exceeding $500M USD
• Strong experience developing, reviewing, and optimising integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
• Advanced understanding of CPM, EVM, and Lean Construction principles
